Hunter GA.11 XE707 at Bentwaters Cold War Museum, 13th May 2023; Jake Wallace

Delivered to the RAF in September 1955 as an F.4, being converted to a GA.11 in 1962 and finally retiring in 1994.

During retirement, she was sold and relocated to Exeter in 1995, before later being exported to the USA where she was put on the civil register as N707XE, returning to the skies for a few years.

By 2006, the airframe had returned to the UK and was stored at a location in Derbyshire, before being acquired by the Bentwaters Cold War Museum for static display, arriving in 2010.

XE707 has received much TLC from the museum's volunteers since her arrival, which has included a repaint in 2014. After being on display at the museum for a handful of years, in 2018, she was finally removed from the civil register. Over the course of 2020/2021 saw XE707 receiving another repaint which is still looking in condition today, along with the rest of the airframe.
