Sea Hawk FB.5 131 at Soesterberg, 16th March 2019; Richard E Flagg

The Militaire Luchtvaart Museum (Military Aviation Museum) at Soesterberg has this beautifully preserved Sea Hawk, which is really WM983 (and has the rear fuselage from XE489). After retirement WM983 was on display for many years at the Cornwall Aero Park/Flambards Theme Park but with the gradual dispersion of that collection it ended up in the grounds of Chilton Cantelo school before being acquired by the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum and restored in Dutch Navy colours.
The aircraft can now be seen displayed hanging from the celling as if it were back flying in the air once again.
