Sea Hawk FGA.6 WV856 at Fleet Air Arm Museum, 3rd November 2021; Jake Wallace

This is the Fleet Air Arm Museum's example, another FGA.6 - WV856, which served with 806 and 781 NAS before transfer to the Royal Aircraft Establishment and later retired to the Museum.

WV856 could be found in the Carrier exhibition with wings folded like the photo above shows. Like most of the museum's airframes, she's in great condition with the cockpit pretty complete, however, she is not fitted with an engine.

During 2022, the Carrier Exhibition was refurbished, resulting in some aircraft being moved into storage, while others emerged. It seems WV856 was one of a handful of airframes that was moved back into storage to allow room for other aircraft.
