Aimed mainly at "Jack Rogerson from Middlesex" - my father, Neil Warner, who sadly recently passed away, was also at Weybridge during the TSR2 project and not too long ago said that he worked on the aircraft. Just wondering if you remember the name....?

Thanks for rembering a quite brilliant aircraft. I am deeply disapointed that our early government destroyed such a thing of beauty, also deprived me the chance of being TSR2 ground crew instead of the Canberra PR9's I worked on at Wyton. Keep up the great work in her memory. She still brings a tear to my eye whenever I see images of her in the air.

Thanks for keeping the memory of such a wonderful aircraft alive. I missed seeing the TSR2 flying - I moved to Lancashire much later - but having seen the gestation of the Tornado and Typhoon at BAe Warton, I can imagine what it would have been like seeing TSR2s flitting about local skies. Marvellous :-)

From my 8th I am a airplane enthousiast and the amongst the most beautiful aircraft with sleek clean lines is certainly the TSR2. Like the Valkery XB70 and the Concorde. Brilliant white, like a virgin and never dropped bombs. Maybe it sounds stupid but such aircraft will live forever.

as a young boy i used to holiday on my uncles farm wich was situated adjacent to the runway were the tsr2 was tested i will never forget the awsome power of the engines as the wonderful craft flew 50ft over my head and accelerated out over the irish sea the wash from the jets made my whole body turn to jelly with the vibration what a disgraceful waste this was the finest aircfaft of its era and probably would still be gracing the skies today if not for that useless goverment they just never learn.

Always loved TSR2 and very bitter about the cancellation. Listning to Dennis Healey deny ordering the scrapping, if he did not then who did.

She who must be obeyed bought me the Airfix 1/48 for Christmas, will be doing it as what if Empire Flying School.

Lesley, I met you and your wife when I visited his nursing home recently with my two small daughters just after your uncle had sadly passed away. Although I didn't know him for very long, I thought he was such a lovely man, a real gentleman and really interesting to talk to. He will be very much missed and only wish he had had more time with us. Thank you for taking the time to speak to me about him and wish both you and your wife very well.
