English Electric Canberra - Survivor WT480
T.4 WT480 - Flugplatz Museum Gütersloh, Germany
Canberra T.4 WT480 at RAF Waddington, 19th September 1995; Shaun Connor
WT480 was delivered to the RAF in May 1955 and retired into Shawbury in March 1996 where she went into storage.
In 2005 she moved on to GJD Services who moved it to Hampshire. Here she was sadly scrapped, with the cockpit section surviving. The nose of WT480 was then sold on to a private collector who exported it to Baden-Wurtrtemburg in Germany, before moving on to Flugplatz Museum Gütersloh where she remains to this day.
