WH960 was delivered to the RAF in March 1955 and was converted to a B.15 at some point during her career. The airframe retired in January 1973 and was transferred to RAF Cosford where it became an instructional airframe and gained the serial 8344M.
WH960 was put up for disposal in 1991, being sold to Phoenix Aviation based at Bruntingthorpe; she was scrapped on site with only the cockpit going to Bruntingthorpe. In 1994, the nose of WH960 was sold on to a private collector who moved her to Nottingham, before she was sold on in 2001 to the Rolls Royce Heritage Trust in Derby where she remains on display today.
