F.58 J-4007 is one of twelve Hunters converted from RAF F.6s and delivered to the Swiss Air Force in 1958. Operated from Interlaken Air Base for many years until retirement in December 1993, it was acquired by the local HunterVerein on 10th June, 1995. Maintained in excellent condition with a
wide selection of underwing stores, the society hope to return it to airworthy condition in the years ahead. The words 'Fifty golden years of Hawker Hunter 1951-2001' were recently painted on the nose, and '10-6-95 Happy hunting HUVER' on the drop tank.
