Hawker Hunter - Survivor G-HVIP (ex J-4208, Fv34080)
T.68 G-HVIP - Apache Aviation (flyer), Istres, France
Hunter T.68 G-HVIP at Mollis, 14th August 2006; Damien Burke
Originally built for the Swedish Air Force as 34080, returned to Hawkers and converted to T.68 status for sale to the Swiss Air Force as J-4208, she was retired in the mid 1990s and sold to a private owner. Operated by the Golden Europe Jet Deluxe Club for some years - and variously based at Hurn near Bournemouth or in Switzerland - she was removed from the UK register in 2008, and apparently sold to a Canadian owner. This turns out to have been Apache Aviation, who are actually based in France.
