Jaguar GR.3A XZ377 at RAF Cosford, 9th June 2024; Jake Wallace

XZ377 began life in 1977 as a GR.1, serving with the 226 OCU at RAF Lossiemouth, and 54 Sqn, and 6 Sqn from RAF Coltishall.

By the late 1990s, XZ377 had been converted to a GR.3A, carrying the fin code 'EG'. In July 2007, the airframe had retired to RAF Cosford, going on to be used for ground instructional training alongside several other Jaguar airframes.

During XZ377's time at RAF Cosford, it lost its original tail code, being changed to 'P'.
