Starting life as a GR.1, XX723 went on to serve with Jaguar OCU at RAF Lossiemouth, 54 Sqn and 6 Sqn from RAF Coltishall. By the late 1990's, the airframe underwent conversion to a GR.3A standard, retiring to RAF Shawbury for storage in 2006.
In 2007, XX723 had been transferred to RAF Cosford for ground instructional training and remains there to this day.
