Jaguar GR.3A XX724 at RAF Cosford, 9th June 2024; Jake Wallace

Built as a GR.1, XX724 made its first flight in 1974, going on to serve with 54 Sqn.

The airframe was retired to RAF Cosford for ground instructional purposes by June 2007. Whilst at Cosford, XX724 was subject to a fair amount of graffiti, EGlend being written on the fins starboard side, and ECoops on the portside. These were later covered up with the tail code being changed to 'C'.
