First flew in November 1965 and was scrapped in July 1988 with the cockpit section saved which was brought by a private collector at Cleethorpes. It was then moved to North Coates Airfield in 22nd February 1998, and then on to Grainthorpe in October 2001.
The cockpit was moved to Binbrook with the Lincolnshire Aircraft Preservation Trust know as Lincair in August 2008. XS457 has been seen in outside storage ever since.
