First flew in November 1965 and was scrapped in July 1988 with the cockpit section saved, which was bought by a private collector at Cleethorpes. It was then moved to North Coates Airfield in 22nd February 1998, and then on to Grainthorpe in October 2001.
The cockpit was moved to Binbrook with the Lincolnshire Aircraft Preservation Trust, known as Lincair in August 2008, but is now under private ownership, although still remains at Binbrook awaiting restoration.
