Here is the cockpit section of XV252, which retired in 2011 at Kinloss before being reduced to a cockpit section.
The cockpit section was acquired by an ex-Nimrod air engineer who moved it to their place in Moray. The section was once visible from a nearby road, but the surrounding hedge has since hidden it from sight. The owner keeps the cockpit in great condition, as the above photo shows, and has fully restored the interior along with the electrics!
