Hawker Sea Hawk - Survivor WM994
FB.5 WM994 - Privately Owned, (stored), Butler, Pennsylvania, USA
Sea Hawk FB.5 WM994 at Hurn, August 1989; Alan Allen
After retirement, WM994 was bought by Jet Heritage at Bournemouth and began a restoration to airworthy condition - this got as far as registering her as G-SEAH, stripping her paint, and applying primer before she was sold to Amjet in the USA in the 1990s. Imported into the USA, she was last seen in 2004 up for sale along with a large amount of Sea Hawk spares and has since disappeared.
In October 2012, the FAA canceled the registration for this aircraft. Not too long after it was, supposedly, sold on again to a private owner who moved it to Butler, Pennsylvania in the USA, and has been placed in storage.
Any updates on her location and condition would be appreciated!
