Sea Hawk F.1 WF219 at Yeovilton, 8th June 2017; Richard E Flagg

WF219 was delivered in late 1953, and was retired in 1957 at Bramcote where it was used for ground instructional uses under the serial A2439. Just a year later, it was transferred to Arbroath where it continued being used as a ground instructional airframe. After Arbroath had finished with the airframe, the tail/rear fuselage was preserved and was moved to Yeovilton for storage, and still remains in storage today.
